Another Card Holder (this time for MY Mum's Birthday)

This is the second Note Card Holder I have made, this time with different colours and Stamps. Now let me point out that these are NOT the suggested colours to match the Bali Breeze DSP .....BUT.... I think that River Rock and Blue Bayou go really well with this particular pattern and I wanna make the most of these colours while they are still available.

Valentine's Day is on its way.....

I just love this set from the current Mini Catalogue. It's called 'A Happy Heart' and I am really happy with how these three ended up (after a little inspiration of course). This set is available for purchase until the end of March but I reckon it will be very popular and most likely appear in the new catalogue being released in April. My favourite is this one.

I think I might make this at my next workshop on the weekend. The new Bali Breeze DSP goes well too I think.

I had fun working out the right dimensions to get the scallop square using the scallop edge punch for the bottom one. Gotta love Chocolate Chip and Pretty in Pink together.
In case you haven't noticed.....I love pink. My workroom even has a pink feature wall...sad I know..... :)

Getting busy for my new team members

Sale-A-Bration during January & February is the best time to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator with added incentives of FREE sets and recently I have had some new recruits join my team (Welcome aboard Steph and Julie) so I thought it important that I gear them up with the essentials while they get going building up their business. I have put together some colour family bundles including the matching ribbon for each and also a punch guide to assist in matching stamps to punches. I hope they like them and it helps their customers choose their supplies more easily. If you are interested in joining my team or holding a workshop during this very special time and earning some FREEBIES for yourself, please don't hesitate to contact me for more information. felic77@hotmail.com or 0414 400 841. I will be happy to answer an questions that you may have. Happy Stamping & Scrapping!!!!

Stationery Box (back to school time)

I got this awesome idea from Becky Roberts - thanks so much. I wasnt able to do either of the themes that you did due to the fact that I dont have a lot of those things yet (fingers crossed we will get the BIG SHOT in April) no cupcakes or top note dies so I had to improvise shall we say... and I came up with this idea, since everyone is mad getting ready for school, all the back to school signs are everywhere and since I am a teacher, well its kinda on my mind too. No stamping but some ribbon (very important), some punches and some Certainly Celery DSP.
Here is a list of the contents;
- Stapler & staples
- Pen & Pencil
- Rubber and Correction tape
- Ruler
- Gluestick (in the clear box)
- Post-It notes
- Scissors
I was actually surprised at how much I was able to fit in it in the end. I had fun shopping for the contents, was really hard trying to find only Certainly Celery and Brocade Blue :)

From this.... to THIS!!!!!

Ok, now this has taken ages for me to get but finally I have it! It also took me all afternoon to put it together and organise it. Stupid me decided to do it on 35 degree day (for those of you in lands afar, thats 95!!!) Anyway, no excuse for not finding anything now and my productivity should go through the roof - LOL - NOT. Shame I have to go back to work this week :(
The most scary thing about this task was realising how much stuff I really do have (let's hope not too much of it will retire in April). I also discovered a lot of sets not used yet AND some not even put together! Even more reasons to get busy creating.....

I'm in LOVE........(with Ruby Red)

I just love this colour, for some reason I have not really 'discovered' it until now - thanks to the gorgeous Ginger Blossom DSP I guess. Wanted to use the new SAB sets to show you some ways to use them and wanted to try a Joy Fold Card too. Am pretty happy with the outcome. Stay tuned......more coming soon.

Last project for weekend....

Ok this is the last project for the weekend, I'm stuffed - LOL. Thanks again to Danni for another great idea. I will have to get around to making the cards to go in it now.....

Note Card Holder

I needed an idea for my Mother-in-law's birthday present and I knew that she would appreciate a handmade gift so thanks to Danni I have this one. I have modifed it a little to cater for our size cards and envelopes but I am happy with the result. I just love the Afternoon Tea DSP and the Live Your Dream Stamp Set. I hope they bring these out in our new Catalogue this year..... If you are interested in replicating this one, I have the instructions modified for my measurements so feel free to email me and I can pass them onto you.

Scrapbook Page 'Australiana Theme'

I made this before Christmas but forgot to post it here. Its a scrapbook page I made for my friend Denise in Arizona. She is also a SU Demo. I went to visit her when I visited my Brother and his family last month. I wanted to make it an Australiana theme hence the 'All Aboriginal' stamp set. This photo was taken last year at the Craft Fair while I was demo'ing the 2,5,7,10 box.
